Following on from Lord Bracadale's recommendations in his review on Hate Crime Legislation in Scotland, the Scottish Government have put out a consultation which asks questions on how best to consolidate Scottish Hate Crime Legislation and expanding the statutory aggravations to include gender and age.

The Scottish Government will be conducting a series of workshops around the country to hold discussions and to gather evidence which will be used in their review.

All events are free of charge and more information is available here Hate Crime Legislation Workshops

The consultation closes on 24th February 2019 and can be accessed here Consultation on Scottish Hate Crime Legislation

The SPF will be submitting a response to this consultation and this will be made available shortly.
